Wedding videography in France
Château la Durantie Wedding in Dordogne
A wedding in the Dordogne at the breathtaking Château la Durantie is always something unique, but Megan and Luke’s celebration was truly unforgettable. As their wedding videographer, I had the privilege of capturing not just a single day, but an entire three-day journey with them and their loved ones: from the intimate welcome dinner, to the wedding itself, and finally the relaxed pool party that followed.
Megan and Luke’s story is one of those that feels like it was always meant to be. Having known each other for over seven years, their connection goes all the way back to school. It’s the kind of love story where, looking back, it seems like they were always destined to be a part of one another’s world, even before either of them realised it. Their wedding at Château la Durantie was the perfect reflection of that journey: timeless, elegant, and deeply personal.
Nestled in the Dordogne, Château la Durantie is the epitome of a fairytale setting for a chateau wedding in France. Its grand façade, sweeping gardens, and timeless interiors created an atmosphere that felt both romantic and cinematic. From the moment I arrived, I knew this would be a wedding film full of texture, depth, and beauty.
Over three days, the château became a world of its own, a place where family and friends could gather, celebrate, and immerse themselves fully in the experience.
The welcome dinner set the tone: warm, intimate, and full of anticipation.
The wedding day itself unfolded beautifully, with every detail perfectly placed against the backdrop of the stunning Château.
The pool party the day after was a chance for everyone to let loose, unwind, and soak up the summer sun.
Every wedding I film is approached with the eye of a storyteller. For Megan and Luke, I wanted their wedding film to feel like a piece of cinema, not just a record of events, but a beautifully crafted visual narrative.
Each frame was considered with care, and my focus is always on creating something timeless, where the emotion of the day meets the visual language of cinema. With Megan and Luke’s wedding at Château la Durantie, I wanted to create a film that doesn’t just tell the story of their wedding, but captures the feeling of it
