Mentoring for aspiring wedding videographers
As a full time wedding filmmaker, I’ve had the privilege to capture weddings in some of the best venues and locations all over the world. Over the past few years, I’ve also had the chance to win some incredible awards and be recognised for my work.
But it wasn’t always like that – I appreciate and understand the struggles of starting your own wedding videography business, and finding your creative voice.
I first started shooting weddings in 2021, as a complete amateur, whilst having a full time job. My first wedding really got me obsessed with the idea of visual story-telling, and the incredible power we have to create art on a wedding day. I watched countless videos and tutorials on YouTube, behind the scenes to achieve cinematic shots, complex workflows to streamline my work, and different editing platforms that would allow me to achieve the film look. But none of them felt like they were designed for me, or done in a way that allowed me to define my style of cinematography.
I’ve always been a visual learner, but I absorb information far quicker when someone is talking to me about a challenge I can understand. Something that I can relate to. That’s why I’ve decided to setup this mentoring programme: to help fellow wedding filmmakers in a way that feels personal and tailored, and give you the help and information I wish I had when I first started.

Prior to becoming a full-time wedding filmmaker, I worked in Client Services for 10+ years, as a Digital Account Director. It was my role to manage finances, pitch, work with creatives, handle all the client communications, and ultimately grow my portfolio. This has taught me an incredible amount about all aspects of business, which I’ve applied to my own venture.

We’ll work together on a 1:1, one hour basis, if you’re looking to improve specific areas of your business or skills. You can come prepared with questions or an idea, and we’ll go through together. This works well if:

Monthly afternoon sessions, to go through your entire workflow together and get you on a journey to becoming your own filmmaker. We’ll create a goal together, and deep dive into all elements of filmmaking and business.
