Wedding videography in Manchester City Centre

A city centre is more than just a backdrop; it's a pulsating hub of life, energy, and inspiration. When it comes to wedding videography, a city centre adds an extra layer of magic to the film, and I love capturing the essence of my couple's love story with the bustling streets and iconic landmarks.

In my view, Manchester stands out as one of the most vibrant and captivating city destinations for any wedding.

As a wedding videographer based in Manchester, I think couples are spoiled for choice when it comes to capturing their special day on video, and I genuinely believe it’s up there with some of the coolest cities to film.

City centres are often adorned with architectural gems that reflect the history and character of a place. The bustling streets, the cheerful faces of passersby, and the vibrant street art all contribute to the narrative, weaving a narrative that is tied to the city. As a cinematic wedding videographer, I think that each frame tells a unique story, and I employ techniques to capture your special day in a way that feels like a romantic movie.

In Manchester City Centre, my artistic style comes to life, with stunning urban landscapes, iconic landmarks, or aerial shots that showcase the city's skyline. Manchester is the perfect setting for couples looking for a truly cinematic experience.

Carla and Andrew’s urban wedding in Castlefield.

I was absolutely over the moon when Carla and Andy asked me to be their wedding videographer for their Manchester City centre wedding. I really wanted to give their film an urban feel. Something that looks like it should be in a movie.

Carla got ready at home, and wanted me to head straight to the city centre to capture the skyline, as well as guests arriving. Andy and his groomsmen suited up at the Beetham Hilton Tower, in the City centre. I arrived early morning, and got amazing drone footage of Manchester, including this very lucky shot of two trams on the railway. This is the very start of the video, a great establishing shot to immerse yourself into the hustle and bustle of the city. What a fantastic setting for a wedding!

Carla and her dad then arrived at midday for the ceremony at the Castlefield Rooms. The room decor itself was all her idea, and looked superb. Following this, we took the couple around Castflefield for beautiful couple portraits, which again, looks fantastic on film and fits my style of cinematography perfectly.

Their story is about Manchester, and I think this wedding film is a perfect example of what it’s like to tie the knot in the heart of any city.

Joce was our videographer for our wedding and was great to work with. He listened to what we wanted and his vision is outstanding. His laidback approach put us at ease. Definitely recommend for any couples getting married.”

Carla, Bride. Tied the knot in Manchester City Centre, June 2023.
