How I craft a story that is unique to you as a couple.
I believe that wedding videography is about story-telling, so my films are all about crafting a story for each of my couples. Every wedding is special and bespoke, so the piece I create for you is unique, too. Creativity is at the heart of what I do. I approach each wedding with a fresh perspective, seeking out unique angles, lighting, and moments that tell a compelling and visually stunning story. My films are inspired by cinema, and that’s what drives my filmmaking style and editing process. I capture the intricate details of your special day to the spontaneous, authentic moments during the reception. I do not script anything, and do not ask you to pose. I always let the story unfold before my lens, and never chase a shot.
I bring it all to life in the editing: each wedding film is inspired by your speeches or the spoken words on the day. Coupled with incredible footage, sound design, and a beautiful soundtrack, to deliver a film that is meaningful, powerful and inimitable. A story is told. There are two things that are really important in my wedding films: it’s all about you and your story. For this reason, my approach is very relaxed, and defined by the emotion I can capture. Everything I do on the day completely documented, but filmed with a cinematic flair, to ensure that you can enjoy your wedding day. My editing style brings it all to life, as I follow cinematic principles to deliver engaging, creative, and emotional wedding films. My approach suits the modern couples looking to capture their day in the most candid way.

In my view, there are two main reasons why you’d want to hire both a wedding videographer and a photographer:
Immersive experience: I wrote about this on my blog recently: a video, by definition, is a motion picture. So where a photographer will deliver a still image, a wedding videographer will bring it to life and deliver something with movement. Instantly, a video becomes more immersive, because it’ll bring back memories that simply cannot be caught with photography
Story-telling: as a cinematic wedding videographer, I’m all about telling a story. I capture beautiful emotions, and craft a story that is unique to you, and what’s led you to your wedding day. This isn’t something you can do as well with photography. However, with a wedding film, you can incorporate the speeches, the ambient sound, and a narrative that tells your story

Yes. As a visual story-teller, I’m constantly looking for ways to get creative within my wedding films. For me to deliver innovative shots and tell your story from a different perspective, I use drone wedding videography and footage captured from an aerial viewpoint.
This dramatically enhances the wedding film, and it’s a technique that is really creative for wedding portraiture, or for seeing a venue from the sky.
